Las Chafiras is one of the population centres in Tenerife’s San Miguel de Abona municipality. The others are San Miguel-Casco, El Frontón, Tamaide, El Roque, Las Zocas, Aldea Blanca and Guargacho.

It should also be noted that very near the unequalled coast strip that is typical of this area are Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf tourist centres, two places that meet all the necessary requirements to be among the favourite ones.
